April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and thanks to Mollie Swafford of The Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center, we had the humble honor to thank so many of the emergency staff who rush to serve children and their families at a moment’s notice: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Meeting these individuals with their loving dispositions and caring, yet knowledgeable hearts and minds. We loved each one. The Bridge was the Welcome Pardner
Nonprofit of the Month; their forensic team and coordinators: our First Responders of the Month for April. The Bridge ALSO nominated Amarillo National Bank for their continued financial and volunteer support. Roxanne Grabbe and William Ware attended to accept the loving appreciation.
Jarrod Robertson of Student Crime Stoppers nominated David Elizalde and Andrea’s Project as the Edible Arrangements Random Acts of Kindness honoree. Robertson expressed the huge difference this organization is making with the on-site programs. APD Chief Martin Birkenfeld added to his written remarks about how much he appreciates the amount of work and results from Andrea’s Project and how much he appreciates David being his friend.
Welcome Pardner loves helping so many nonprofit organizations connect with for-profit businesses in fundraising to heighten awareness for all concerned for the greater good. The room was filled with fun and heartfelt love. We represent such wonderful, ethical and caring businesses and nonprofits! We also thanked those blessing Welcome Pardner, too: ALSO, it’s been Administrative Assistants’ Week. Our team has really stepped it up this week and were shown appreciation individually.
